Hello.. My name is Bill Silver. Welcome to my website.

I have been calling since 1981. I have been a member of Callerlab, the international association of square dance callers since 1985. I am also a member of the Square Dance Callers Association of the Modesto Area (CAMA) and a member and Vice-President of the San Joaquin Callers & Cuers Group (CACG). I am also a member and 2011 President of the Square Dance Callers Association of Northern California (SDCANC).           

I currently call for the Guys & Dolls Handicapable Square Dance Club in Sacramento, California, the Single Skirts & Flirts in Oakdale, California, the Elks & Does in Alameda, California and the Vaca Valley Ramblers in Vacaville, California. After retiring from my "9 to 5" job as an elementary school custodian in 2008 with the Folsom-Cordova Unified School District, I have now taken up square dance calling/teaching as a full-time activity. In addition, I am on the staff of Bohica Soundwerks, setting sound at local and regional festivals as well as several National Square Dance Conventions since 1998. I call for schools, church groups and private parties and enjoy working around young people, and I am always eager to show them the fun of square dancing, and  that's it's not just done by old people in funny-looking outfits.
